I know there are a lot of things going on this weekend, but none of them, not even MusicFest, will be as good as the Taste of Jubilee Food Tasting and Silent Auction at the Pink Palace tomorrow night. It benefits the Blue Streak Scholarship Foundation, which helps families with children in the Jubilee Schools, and you can read all about it on their website. But I guarantee that you will not have as good a time at the Grizzlies game as you will at Taste of Jubilee! Check out all the restaurants and catering companies that will be giving away their wares. Not to mention that all the coolest people in town will be there.
And here’s the bonus. Michel Allen, one of our very own members, is one of the key organizers of the event, and she has promised half off the regular $75 per person admission to anyone who shows up to help set things up from 4pm to 6pm on Friday.
